On Friday, 10/4/2015, A friend I've known from my ex private school, Jing Wen, invited me to celebrate Lynn's birthday eve at Leisure Mall. At first I was reluctant to go, maybe it's cause I don't really hang out with them anymore and my job ends at 7, I had to leave work by 4.45 as Jing Wen offered to drive me there. Then I thought of how long I have not seen them, so I went.
Diane drove me home and I took a quick shower, fast enough to be ready by 5.15pm.
Her car came and Lynn came out of the car heading towards my gate, poking the door bell for so many times I had to yell 'STOP' lol. Then off I went !
Yes, I tend to take ridiculously-image-ruining pictures of myself when I'm with friends I love.
After a typical massive KL-styled jam, we arrived at the mall. Three of us decided to sit down at Starbucks to wait for Stephanie (whom I didn't know very well). I actually didn't order coffee because I rarely drink them, I'm sort of a tea person, but I didn't order tea there, wait what am I mumbling about, lets cut this short : I didn't order anything from there. Instead, I bought Boost Juice which was just outside of Starbucks. I have a crazy addiction for smoothies, I love smoothies aloooooot. I ordered Banana Buzz which is my so called "the usual" then brought it in.
We were talking and talking and talking, catching up like never before and laughed so much. Suddenly one of Lynn's friend came in, her name was Maxine (I recognized her from her facebook) that was when everyone started talking more because Maxine was a very easy going girl. Stephanie showed up a few minutes later too.

Soon after Maxine left, we were deciding what to eat. After all the debating, we chose to go to Nando's. We made our orders and then Jing Wen started to nudge me saying "Hey, check your phone"
"No data"
"-shows phone-"
"CONTENTS : Me and steph go buy cakes for Lynn"
"*carefully nods* eh delete that picture leh so ugly"
After saying this Jing Wen got really confused (Because she's stupid HAHA) so I quickly waved it away and she said "Me and Steph go toilet"
While they were gone, I had a little bonding session with Lynn, we took so many photos !
FINALLY THE FOOD CAME
After finishing our dishes, we decided to get the cakes out and started singing happy birthday to her !
Her face when she couldnt blow her candle because we were too busy taking photos hahahahaha
The cakes were Mille Crepes from Mr.Chizu. Each of us chose a flavour, mine was matcha.The others were oreo, coffee and tiramisu. Totally not recommended because after a few bites everyone decided not to finish it, it tasted so rich and the crepes weren't soft enough.
Because it was Lynn's birthday, I thought it should be right to make her do silly things in public so I dared her to call for the bill without raising her hand or her mouth, just eye contact.
"Why not you try doing it if it sounds so easy for you?"
Lynn laughed as she spoke after I argued with her when she refused to take the dare. "FINE."
So it turned out me doing the stupid dare and eventually after 15 minutes of awkward eye contact with me bulging my eyes out like a stupid goldfish, I gave up and raised my hand for the bill. Everyone laughed.
Before leaving, I made another dare for Lynn to say 'May I take a photo with you?' in an Indian accent to a group of guys sitting a few couples of tables away from us. We all bursted out in laughter when Lynn agreed but she also said
"You guys have to come with me",
that was when I took back my words because the night has already been awkward and weird enough for me lol.
Oh, and I got Lynn a balloon ! The waitress took our photo but I couldn't seem to find it anywhere online :(

I find this picture so funny because I took it by accident and it captured Stephs face when she was beaten by Lynns balloon.
Then we headed to M Live Bistro to get a drink before we left. Then Steph had to leave because her mom was waiting for her in the mall. We ordered our own drinks, played some darts and left.
Since we all had curfews,we left after our drinks were finished. Jing Wen's parents came, I went in light headed and wanted to fall asleep so bad. My body has its way of telling me how weak I am to even have a few sips of alcohol.
Honestly, I'm pretty lucky to still have these idiots here with me even without meeting each other every day. I guess I can always count on them to make my day feel better because I can imagine the amount of laughter we poured out from our mouths.
